$2.1M Tax Fraud, Biggest in OR History

A 25 year old woman Oregon woman received a fraudulent $2.1 million state income tax refund by filing a bogus return. This was the biggest Oregon state tax fraud to date.

By policy, three agency employees are required to verify refunds over $50,000. But the woman still received a $2.1 million refund on a Visa debit card.
