Lab Tech Arrested for Stealing Patient IDs

A children's hospital laboratory technician has been arrested on suspicion of stealing patients' personal identifying information (PII).

The hospital says the laboratory technician, who was terminated after her arrest, had access to patient names, medical information, Social Security numbers, and insurance information.
